
JAMES D. VAUGHAN QUARTET FESTIVAL TICKETS GO ON SALE THIS WEEK!
Main Street, Lawrenceburg, proudly presents three days of gospel music's favorite quartet singing and additional quartets for 2013. Over 15 southern gospel quartets will come to the birthplace of Southern Gospel Music, Lawerenceburg, TN, on Thursday July 25 through Saturday July 27 to celebrate the heritage which was found by James D. Vaughan in 1910. A Thursday evening performance will kick-off the event at 7:00p.m. featuring America's Favorite Family of Gospel Music, The Hoppers, most award winning quartet, Gold City, and up and coming quartet, LeFevre Quartet.
A newly added Friday July 26 Matinee will begin at 1:00p.m. featuring the Old Paths Quartet and the Caltons. Admission will be FREE, however a special free-will love offering will be received. Then on Friday evening, known as friends and family night, the quartet festival will begin at 7:00p.m. with the Inspirations from Bryson City, NC, the McKameys, and back by popular demand, the "Mighty" Kingsmen Quartet.
A Saturday July 27 Matinee will be at 1:00p.m. featuring the Songfellows Quartet, the Harvesters Quartet, and the Allen Family. To cap off a great weekend, beginning at 6:00p.m. you'll hear, the Mark Trammell Quartet, the Perrys, the world famous Chuck Wagon Gang, and the fabulous Blackwood Brothers Quartet from Memphis, TN.
Host Quartet and Lawrenceburg's own, the Kellys, will appear each evening. Josh Franks will be the MC for the entire weekend.
